Day trading strategy – entry & exit?

buying low and selling high.
I agree 100% with your first answer. LOL
Seriously though...daytrading drives people insane in "normal" markets. why even consider it now? the market can go up or down 300-500pts in minutes with no signs whatsoever. It's pure insanity.
I look for breaking out to new highs or new lows for the day (depending on which direction I want to trade). I also look for sharp moves and watch the volume. The harder things move in one direction, the more likely a quick snapback is.
For an exit, I sit really tight -- live to trade another day -- on the downside. I am pretty open about the upside, but in this market I am very quick to take profits.
I would say never do it its like a gambling, and very hard to make money. To begin with try with little amount of money and see how it works out for you.
